From Romans to the green Neretva valley
Lose sight of the blue Adriatic to discover the wondrous Neretva river valley, a fertile area that is the belly of the region. In the small town of Vid, you will visit one of the most important Roman sites in the region, the ancient Narona. Today an in situ museum, the highlight are 17 marble statues from a temple dedicated to Augustus. After Roman history, hop on a traditional boat and take in the beauty and many birds of the Norin River. Round it all off with a picnic served in an untouched spot, surrounded by greens, birds' song and river whispers.
